Collectors can't open my link or it looks blank
Almost always the public links switch is off — turn it back on from Share catalogue.
A collector isn't in my broadcast list
Broadcast only reaches collectors who have a WhatsApp number saved — add or fix theirs on the Collectors tab.
The Commissions or Broadcast tab is locked
These are paid-plan features. The free plan includes your catalogue and collectors; commissions and broadcasts unlock on an upgrade.
My payment reminder doesn't include a UPI ID
The reminder only carries your UPI if it's saved in your profile — add it under Artist profile → UPI ID.
FAQ
Do my collectors need to download an app or sign up?
No. They open your link in any browser — no login, no download — and enquire on WhatsApp. Only you, the artist, need an account.
Does Canvas take a cut of my sales?
Never. Money never flows through Canvas — collectors pay you directly by UPI, cash or transfer, and you keep 100%. Canvas only holds your catalogue, tracks the balances, and opens WhatsApp for you.
How do I tell collectors about new work?
Add your collectors, then use the Broadcast tab. Pick a piece, tweak the message, and tap Send next to each person — WhatsApp opens from your own number with {name} auto-filled. It's one tap each, not a bulk blast.
Can I take commissions?
Yes. Each commission gets a private progress link where your client follows every WIP photo and sees the balance due, plus a one-tap UPI payment reminder. Commissions are a paid-plan feature.
Is Canvas free?
Free to start — up to 10 works and 10 collectors, forever, with your shareable catalogue and About links. Paid plans lift the limits to unlimited and unlock WhatsApp broadcasts and commissions.
Is it my brand, or Canvas's?
Yours — your name, your works, your prices, your story sit front and centre, and Canvas stays quietly in the background. On the top plan you can even use your own custom link.
