Settle up with the fewest payments

Updated 23 Jul 2026

SplitFlow doesn't make everyone pay everyone. It computes the fewest transfers that clear all debts — three people can usually settle a whole trip in one or two payments.

  1. 1Open the balances tab

You'll see exactly who owes whom, already minimized. "You owe" and "You get" make your own position obvious.

  2. 2Pay or get paid

If the receiver has added a UPI ID, payers get a one-tap pay option. Cash or a bank transfer works too — money never moves through SplitFlow.

  3. 3Record the payment

Tap Record a payment (or mark a suggested transfer as settled) so balances update. Every settlement is kept in history.

  4. 4Nudge politely

Tap Remind on WhatsApp next to someone who owes — it opens your own WhatsApp with a friendly pre-written message. No bots, no spam.

💡 Add your UPI ID in the people tab so friends can pay you in one tap.
