A friend's link won't open or they can't join

Check they finished joining
Joining is two taps: open the link, then pick a name and tap Join group. If they only opened the link, they can see the group but aren't in it yet.
Left by mistake?
If someone tapped Leave group, they can rejoin from the same link. Their past expenses stay in the group's history — leaving never deletes data.
