Pending numbers don't match reality

Updated 23 Jul 2026

Walk one challan end to end

Open the challan whose number looks wrong and compare its outward and receives against your physical paperwork. The pending balance is pure arithmetic — if it's off, an entry is missing or doubled.

Check part-returns and defectives

Part-returns often arrive in several lots — make sure each lot was received. And check whether defective pieces were logged as defective, not counted into good returns.

Fix the entry, not the balance

Correct the wrong or missing receive and the reconciliation view recalculates instantly. There's no manual balance override — that's deliberate, so the view always reflects real entries.
