When something looks off.
The WhatsApp reminder won't open
The reminder opens in your own WhatsApp for you to send — it needs WhatsApp on your phone and the person's number saved.
A balance looks wrong
A card's total is just its entries netted — open the History and check for an entry logged the wrong way.
Can't add another customer
You've hit your plan's customer limit — archive someone settled, or upgrade for more.

How do I add what someone owes me?
Tap New entry, choose "You gave", pick the person, and type the amount — their pending balance updates itself.
How do I send a payment reminder?
Open the person and tap Remind on WhatsApp — a polite message opens in your own WhatsApp with their name and balance filled in. You just hit send. It's free.
Does the reminder cost anything or use a bot?
No. It opens in your own WhatsApp and you press send, so it comes from your number at no per-message charge. There's no automated sending and no paid messaging API.
How do I see who's overdue?
The Today screen shows your total owed and who owes you. Anyone 30+ days unpaid is flagged automatically with their total, so they rise to the top.
Can I use CreditBook for personal lending, not just a shop?
Yes. Name the book after yourself and add friends or family as people — the running balances and one-tap reminders work exactly the same.
Does CreditBook show ads or push loans?
No ads and no loan upsells. It only keeps your ledger and writes the reminder — it never moves money.
