Enter the stock you already have

An opening figure on the style

The Add product form has an Opening stock box. Whatever you type there lands on that style at your main location. It's the quickest way in if you don't count by size yet.

An exact figure per size and colour

This is the one worth the extra minutes. When you add a variant, fill in Opening stock and choose where it sits under "Opening stock sits at". Do that for each size and colour and your grid is right from day one.

Or just record the purchase

If the goods came in on a supplier bill, record the bill in Purchases instead. Stock goes up and what you owe that supplier is logged at the same time.

💡 Opening stock is only offered while you are creating a style or a variant. Afterwards, use ± Stock to correct a figure, or a purchase to bring new goods in.
