Reports: pick a period, compare it, export it

Picking the period

The chips at the top of Overview and Reports set the window: 7 Days, 15 Days, 30 Days, This Month, Last Month, This Quarter, This Financial Year, or Custom with your own two dates. Whatever you pick follows you from tab to tab, so you can't end up comparing two different windows by accident.

The comparison

Beside the chips are four compare buttons: Prev (the window immediately before this one), WoW (a week earlier), MoM (a month earlier) and YoY (the same window last year). The small ↑ or ↓ under each figure on the Overview measures against whichever you chose.

Where there is nothing sensible to compare against, you get a dash instead of an invented number.

What you can export

Every report has a ⬇️ CSV button, and the file holds every row even when the screen shows the first forty. The reports are: Sales register (invoices and challans, with status), Purchase register, Tax summary (rate bands read from your own documents, not from any assumed tax regime), Stock valuation (a snapshot of what you hold now, not tied to the period), Jobwork reconciliation, and a Party statement for any one buyer or supplier with a running balance.

Individual documents print separately: invoices, delivery challans, purchase bills, jobwork challans and transfer challans all open as a clean page you can print or save as a PDF.

When a figure can't be trusted

LoomFlow loads a long stretch of history, but not every row you have ever entered. If the window you asked for reaches further back than what's loaded, an amber note says the total is understated, and the comparison is hidden rather than shown wrong. A missing comparison is honest; a fake collapse in sales is not. Pick a shorter period and everything lines up again.
