Stores, warehouses and factories

Updated 26 Jul 2026

The three kinds

A store 🏬 sells. A warehouse 📦 holds without selling. A factory 🏭 makes — it sends goods out for job-work and takes them back rather than selling over the counter. Each place has a short code as well as a name, so long lists stay readable.

Switching the view

The switcher sits at the top of the dashboard: 🌐 All locations, or one place. Every tab obeys it — pick your second shop and Inventory, Transfers and Reports all narrow to it. If you only have one location there's nothing to switch, so LoomFlow just shows its name and gets out of the way.

What is and isn't split by location

Stock is counted per location. Sales, purchases and payments are not tagged to a location yet, so those totals always cover the whole business. When you have one location selected, LoomFlow prints an amber note saying exactly that above the numbers — read it before comparing two figures.

Adding another location

Every workspace starts with one, called Main store. Adding more isn't self-serve in the app yet: tell us the name and whether it's a store, warehouse or factory using the contact options at the bottom of this page and we'll add it to your workspace.

How many you can have depends on your plan — one on Free and Starter, two on Growth, as many as you like on Pro.
