A sale didn't come off the size I sold
Updated 26 Jul 2026
What happens today
When you pick an item on an invoice, a supplier bill or a job-work challan, you're picking the style. LoomFlow records the movement against that style, and it lands on the style's first size and colour at your main location. The style's overall count stays right; the cell it came out of may not be the one that left the shop.
Where sizes are exact
Opening stock — entered size by size when you create each variant — and transfers, where you choose the exact size and colour going in the van. Those two are precise, which is why a multi-location business gets its grid right through transfers rather than through sales.
What to do about it
If the split matters for a particular style, correct the picture with ± Stock and a reason, or keep colours as separate styles so each carries its own count.
This is a known limit rather than a fault. If it's costing you real time, tell us with the contact options at the bottom of this page — that's what decides what gets built next.
